He has been repeatedly recognized as one of the "100 Most Influential Players in Corporate Governance" by the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD). In his capacity as Equilar CEO, David has spoken at events held by The Conference Board, NYSE Euronext, and Stanford's Directors' College, among others.
A graduate of the University of Virginia and the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, David previously served as a Vice President in the Investment Banking division of Donaldson, Lufkin, and Jenrette, which later merged with Credit Suisse. David is a director of the Asian Pacific Fund Community Foundation, which provides education and services to low-income Asian-Americans, and has held events for the Asian American Donor Program, which recruits potential bone marrow donors from the underrepresented Asian-American community.
